Be Irish for a day at Cacapon Resort State Park! In the morning learn all about Irish Road Bowling by observing as a spectator or competing in the tournament! In the evening listen to Irish songs and stories outside at the North Lodge Terrace. All events are free.
Irish Road Bowling
Enter a team or compete individually with the West Virginia Irish Road Bowling Tournament stop at Cacapon Resort State Park. Registration is at 10 a.m. at the nature center and the competition starts at 11 a.m. This event is free. Learn more about this fun sport and its history here.
Join in for an evening of free entertainment from “Mick The Fiddler” An Evening of Irish songs and stories. This event will start at 7 p.m. outside on the North Lodge Terrace. Mick performs songs on a variety of instruments including fiddle, banjo, guitar, auto harp, dulcimer and mandolin.
