Come and go as you please to see the Glade Creek Grist Mill inside and out on Saturday, September 23, 2023. The miller will be on-hand for informal discussions about the history of this structure and how the mill works. Visit Babcock State Park from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. today, however, the miller takes a Noon – 1:00 p.m. break. There is no charge for this activity.
This is one of the many 15th annual Hidden History Happenings celebrating Appalachian heritage in Southern West Virginia with events planned from September 9 – October 15, 2023 and organized by the National Park Service, New River Gorge National Park & Preserve.
