Walk and Rock is a morning hike with a state geologist and Park Naturalist, Paulita Cousin. Meet at 10:00 a.m. at Pendleton Point Overlook. We’ll set foot for very short distances to learn more and find rocks, minerals and fossils on this morning walk. This Geology Rockin’ Walk is Thursday, August 4, 2022.
There are rock outcroppings (weather permitting) and sturdy shoes are recommended. Most of this morning activity is at the overlook. Join us.
There is no charge to attend the Geology Rocks! programs. Geology Rocks! is presented by geologists from the West Virginia Geological and Economic Survey.
