Fall Photography Workshop
Capture the beauty of nature at Twin Falls Resort State Park. If you enjoy digital or film cameras, you will find this weekend event to be exactly what you are looking for. The Fall Photography Workshop is the perfect time to learn new skills and hone old ones and with 4,000 acres, Twin Falls provides the perfect background for these skills. The workshop agenda will cover an array of topics from equipment and composition to photography, natural light, people, action photography, digital imaging and computer software use. Foliage and colors of autumn create lasting images and memories of the deciduous forest.
Past workshops have included discussions about various types of photography equipment and photo editing tools, composition, using natural light and flash photography, how to photograph people, action photography, scenic photography, digital imaging and file storage. Both Steves also have experience with aerial and drone photography. The classes are very fluid and participant’s questions and requests are always welcome.
The workshop includes lots of hands-on photography outings, including a popular night photography session when weather permits. If you have a specific interest or subject you’d like to learn, ask the instructors and they will make every effort to help. The Sunday morning session includes a critique of their student’s favorite photographs.
Steve Shaluta and Steven Wayne Rotsch and Park Superintendent Scott Durham are the instructors.
