Birds of Prey Photography Workshop

October 8, 2022

Three Rivers Avian Center is 15-miles from Bluestone State Park or about a 30-40 minute drive. The annual fall Photography Workshop on Brooks Mountain is Saturday, October 8, 2022. It is a fee based activity open to the public and a rare opportunity to capture images of live, non-releasable birds of prey Ambassadors.

The event is led by professional photographer Steven Wayne Rotsche with the assistance of TRAC staff. All levels of photographers are welcome, whether you use your cell phone or are a professional with years of experience and gear. Tips and tricks are shared in a fun, congenial event that is great for all ages. The workshop is completely outdoors. Food and beverages are not available, so you’ll need to bring your own. Good footwear for outdoor terrain is encouraged.

There is a morning session and an afternoon session held in different locations. Sessions are $50 per person and registration is required. Visit https://stevenrotsch.com/ for more information and to register.

TRAC is a private 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving West Virginia’s wild birds and to educating and involving the public in ecosystem stewardship. Donations are welcome. This is TRACs 32nd year of caring for wild birds in the Mountain State of West Virginia.
