The species and number of birds will be recorded on an eBird hotspot at the overlook. These bird counts help Cornell Lab of Ornithology obtain a more accurate yearly bird count by location.
For all November and December dates, meet at the locked gate near the Batt Parking area. Visitors must be here at 1 p.m. for these dates, as the fire road gate is locked this time of year and will not be left open during the program.
