American Battlefield Trust Park Day at Cass Scenic Railroad State Park

Each year, thousands of history enthusiasts, community-minded citizens, families and groups come together in an effort to help our nation’s heritage. This year, Cass Scenic Railroad State Park is hosting a Volunteer Park Day, which includes helping preserve the beauty and history of Cass. Volunteers will assist park staff in sprucing up the park which includes trash removal along hillsides, and some light scraping and painting around the historic town. Volunteers will receive a special backpack from the American Battlefield Trust and be treated to lunch from Shays.

Participants should bring their own PPE including gloves, insect repellent and water. Sunscreen is also recommended.
