Community meeting on proposed lodge development within the Beech Fork Dam and Recreation Area

LAVALETTE, W.Va. – On Nov. 12, 2019, West Virginia State Parks will be presenting the Financial and Investment Feasibility Analysis findings for the proposed 75-room Lodge and Conference Center within the Beech Fork Dam and Recreation Area near Huntington, West Virginia. 

This will be the third community meeting on this project. Previous meetings have included community input, and overview of Market and Planning feasibility. West Virginia State Parks encourages interested citizens, civic and social groups, businesses, and local government officials to attend and gain insight to findings. 

All in the community are invited to attend this public meeting Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lavalette Elementary School Cafeteria, 1150 Beech Fork Road, Lavalette, WV 25535. 

The agenda of the meeting will include: Overview of Findings to Date, Review of Financial Forecast and Investment Feasibility.
