Chief Logan Camping

Located four miles north of Logan in the heart of West Virginia’s southern coalfields, Chief Logan State Park is one of the most visited facilities in the West Virginia State Parks System. Campers will be surrounded by unmatched outdoor recreation, including biking, hiking, fishing, and swimming. The park is also located within close proximity to the Hatfield-McCoy ATV trails for campers looking for a uniquely West Virginia adventure.

Campground Seasons & Dates

The campground is open spring through summer, weather permitting

Campsites may be reserved anytime online, by phone, or at the campground office

Reservations may be made for no less than two consecutive nights on weekends (Fri. and Sat.) or one night (Sun.-Thurs.)

There is a 14-night maximum stay

Campground Amenities

26 units, 14 of which have full water, sewage and electric hookups, 12 have electric and water only

Hot showers are available at a centrally located bathhouse
