Horseback Riding at Cacapon State Park
Discover new adventures on horseback at Cacapon Resort State Park. Cacapon Resort State Park is pleased to offer guided horseback trail riding tours through our partner, Triple C Outfitters.
Experienced or not, this is a great opportunity to see Cacapon’s rolling and rugged landscape from a new perspective! Well-mannered horses and experienced trail guides allow even the beginner to enjoy the beauty of Cacapon on horseback.
Riding Stables Schedule (Weather Permitting)
The riding stable’s operation is weather permitting, so please call Triple C Outfitters at 304-350-2591 to check on operating hours and days. The stables will be closed every Monday, except for Memorial and Labor Day.
- March 25th – May 31st, Open Weekends, Weekday riding is by reservation only.
- June 2nd – August 23rd: Open Daily (Except Mondays)
- August 25th-September 6th: Open Weekends, Weekday riding is by reservation only.
- September 8th- November 1st: Open Weekends only
Standard Rides and Rates
Standard Rides and Rates: Guided Trail Rides: (Approximately 1 hour) Call for rate.
Ride Restrictions: The minimum age for riders is seven years old. An adult (18 or older) must accompany all children. For your safety, the maximum weight limit is 260 lbs for one-hour rides and 240 lbs for longer rides. Only one rider per horse will be permitted.
