Farm to Table Dinners Return to West Virginia State Parks
The West Virginia State Parks farm to table dinner series is back this year and the best way to enjoy local food, produce and beverages at some of your favorite parks. Each dinner is a unique dining experience and seating is limited. Book your reservation today, before tickets sell out.
Farm to Table Dinner Dates
Twin Falls Resort – Aug. 5
The Twin Falls Resort Farm to Table Dinner will be at the Pioneer Farm on Thursday, Aug. 5. The dinner will feature traditional country-style food, including produce grown in Farmer Mike’s garden, served in a family reunion setting. Dinner will be accompanied by live music. Tickets are $50 per person and may be purchased by calling the Twin Falls restaurant at 304-294-4005.
Chief Logan — Aug. 13
Chief Logan Lodge’s Farm to Table Dinner will be Friday, Aug. 13 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Whispering Ridge Restaurant. The dinner will feature home-cooked county-style food. To learn more about the dinner or to make a reservation, call the park at 304-855-6100.
Pipestem Resort — Aug. 14
The Pipestem Resort Farm to Table Dinner will be at the Mountain Creek Dining Room on Saturday, Aug. 14. from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dinner will be served buffet-style and include appetizers, entrées, sides and desserts made from ingredients supplied by local vendors, such as Rainbow Farms, Freedom Farms and Turn Row.
To get to the dinner, park at the Canyon Rim Center. From there, you will ride the aerial tramway down to the Mountain Creek Dining Room and see breathtaking views of the Bluestone River Gorge along the way.
Pricing for this event will be available Aug. 1, but you can make a reservation any time before then. Only 100 tickets are available, so don’t wait to buy your tickets! Reservations are required and can be made by calling 304-466-1800 ext. 368 or ask the clerk to transfer you to our Food and Beverage Department.
Tygart Lake — Aug. 19
The Tygart Lake Farm to Table Dinner will be Thursday, Aug. 19 at the Lodge Restaurant. The event will start at 6 p.m. with appetizers and a cash bar featuring West Virginia wine. A three-course dinner featuring local food will be served at 6:30. There will also be a gift basket drawing.
Seating is limited and tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets are $37.99. To make reservations, call 304-265-6144 and ask for Melissa Stanley or Ben West.
Hawks Nest — Sept. 25
The Farm to Table Dinner at Hawks Nest will be Saturday, Sept. 25. Check back for more details or call the park at 304-658-5212.
