Wooden See-the-Eggs Driving Tour: Watters Smith
April 3 – April 9
Watters Smith Memorial State Park’s unique egg hunt creates daytime fun from the comfort of your vehicle. Large wooden painted eggs are stationed throughout the park and invites family and friends to visit and enjoy spring time. Many families enjoy counting how many eggs are displayed and there are dozens of them, around 100+.
The artistic eggs are on display starting Monday April 3 through Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023. Unlike Christmas lights, these festive pieces are best viewed in daylight. Many are located for easy access to take a selfie.
The park is a day-use area and open from morning until dusk. There is no entrance fee. Bring a picnic lunch or snacks and hang out for a while or take a hike (hippity-hop) on a park trail.
