Wild and Wonderful Wildlife Walk — Tygart Lake State Park - May 16, 2026

Celebrate Kids to Parks Day 2026 with us at Tygart Lake State Park! Join naturalist Jabob and his team to learn about forest animals by exploring their pelts and bones, and discover how to be good neighbors to wildlife in our state parks. Afterward, we’ll walk the Ridge Trail to look for wildlife and see their habitats. This event is open to all ages, and everyone who joins will get a Kids to Parks Day sticker.

The Ridge Trail includes some moderately hilly terrain, so be sure to wear good shoes and bring water.
