The CCC Boys: A West Virginia Legacy
The Civilian Conservation Corps left a legacy that can still be seen and enjoyed all over WV in the forests they planted and parks they helped to build. Meet the Naturalist at the Nature Center to watch a movie into this WV legacy. (30 minutes)
Followed by a guided walking tour.

Camp Morgan CCC Company 1523
Cacapon State Park was developed between the years of 1934-1941. Discover the many visitor services that are still used today. Enjoy a recent recorded interview of Camp Morgan member George Beam.

Enjoy a close-up view of a variety of winter visitors to the nature center’s bird feeder….maybe a goldfinch or woodpeckers such as red-bellied or a hairy woodpecker!

Irish Road Bowling
Meet at the nature center for a fun family challenge rolling a cannon ball around our course. Come and see what the fun is all about! Weather Dependent.
