BEGINNERS BIRD WALK
Join park naturalist, Paulita, to stroll through shrubby habitat and along Pendleton Lake using our ears and eyes to find feathered friends. . About 1 hour. 1 mile. YPP
10:00 a.m.
ROCKIN’ ON THE TRAIL OF GEOLOGY
Kenny Noland will meet you at Pendleton Point Overlook Salt Sands Sign to ramble deeper into the rocks, terrain and perhaps fossils that make Blackwater Falls State Park. About 1 hour. YPP
11:30 a.m.
FOSSIL CRAFT
In order to study the history of life on earth, paleontologists study fossil remains of the organisms that once lived here. This Fossil Find Activity invites participants to become paleontologists by finding and gently removing the sediment to expose real trilobite replicas or make their own fossil. This activity requires patience and time to uncover trilobite or create a fossil craft. Craft fee: $2.00 YPP

WHO WAS PORTE CRAYON?
Join Kenny Noland on the patio along the Falls Boardwalk to learn a little history of the area and hear about Porte Crayon adventures. About 1 hour. YPP
2:30 p.m.
RAMBLIN’ RANGER
Meet at the patio along the falls boardwalk for his surprise topic of the day and to play a game. About 30 minutes. YPP
