Become a Nature Ranger and join park naturalist Tammy Cooper for an action-packed, yet educational weekend of nature-related activities. Take guided hikes, learn the basics of bushcraft, view the night sky with telescopes, learn about star charts, work on crafts, try your hand at a slingshot course, play games, and of course, learn about West Virginia’s wildlife. All participants will graduate as official Nature Rangers!
The cost of the program is $99 per participant, which includes the weekend activities, lunch on Saturday and all supplies. The event is open to children ages 9-12 with space limited to 12 participants. The park is offering a special rate at the lodge for those who require overnight accommodations.
