Nature Activities: Pipestem

Visit the Pipestem Nature Center open Wednesday – Sunday 11:00 am – 5:00 pm and attend planned nature activities March 24 – 27, 2022. See our exhibits and heritage structures and sit a spell in our West Virginia made rocking chairs and watch the birds.

Meet Julie at the Nature Center to learn about seven different mammals you may encounter at Pipestem and see their pelts.

Bird Count
Stop by the Nature Center to observe and count the birds at the feeders. We will count the highest number of each species seen at a time. Data collected will be submitted to Project FeederWatch for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

Nature Hunt
Meet Julie at the Nature Center. She will hand out a list of objects to look for outside in Nature. (1/2 – 1 hour)
