National Trails Day is a nationwide hiking day that falls on the first Saturday in June. Take a hike at Kanawha State Forest. Meet at the nature center at 9:00AM. Hike will be an easy to moderate activity known as the Old Growth Forest Tour. The activity is an accessible adventure with forest staff and volunteers as hike hosts. Upon completion, hikers receive a trail day patch as available. Open to the public. Free to participate. Join us!

Since 1993, National Trails Day has been held annually, the first Saturday of June, to bring attention to our state’s and nation’s hiking trails.
