National Trails Day Hike: Beech Fork

Beech Fork State Park hosts a National Trail Days Hike on Saturday June 3, 2023 at 9:00am. The hike will be on Lost Trail which is a 3.5 mile loop, with a rating of difficult.
Please meet at Lost Trail trailhead parking lot, behind campsites 103 and 104, in the Moxley Branch Camping Area. The hike will be led by Park Naturalist, Terry Watkins, and will be about 2 hours in length.
Sturdy boots or closed-toed shoes and water are required and insect repellent is recommended. Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Participants completing the hike with Naturalist Watkins received a Trails Day patch. There is no fee to participate.
National Trails Day is an initiative to unite all muscle-powered trail activities with the goal of connecting more people to trails. Each year, since 1993, on the first Saturday of June, the American Hiking Society and the trails community invite Americans of all ages to walk or hike.
