National Trails Day — Elk River Trail - June 6, 2026

Join us in celebrating National Trails Day by hiking the Mountaineer Mile on the Elk River Trail. Hikers should meet at the Elk River Trail Headquarters / Visitors Center at 10:00am. This is a flat, easy one mile hike on packed limestone. Bring your own snacks and water. All pets must be on a leash. Afterwards, stop by the new Visitor’s Center gift shop to purchase Elk River Trail merch.
