National Trails Day — Cedar Creek State Park - June 6, 2026
June 6 @ 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Join the Cedar Creek state park naturalist for 4 events in celebration of National Trails Day.
Starting at 2pm, join us for a Kids Hike. The hike will be along the creek, starting at the cabin and going to the barn and back. Please bring shoes you don’t mind getting wet.
At 4pm, we’ll hike along the Fisherman’s Trail. This is an easy-to-moderate hike. Please bring comfortable shoes and binoculars. The naturalist will have extra kids’ binoculars available to use.
At 6pm, there will be a 30-minute wagon ride through the park. Please sign up for the cabin.
At 8:30pm- 10pm, we are doing a glow-in-the-dark night hike. Let’s listen to the sounds of Cedar Creek State Park at night. We will walk through the campground, starting at the cabin, then to the 3rd bathhouse, and back. Glow sticks provided, but please bring your own headlamp or flashlight. This is an easy 2-mile hike.
Please bring water, snacks, and comfortable shoes.
