National Public Lands Day: Garbage Grabbers – Pipestem Resort State Park - September 26, 2026

Celebrate National Public Lands Day at Pipestem! Be a part of this impactful day and help make a difference in our public lands! Meet at the Splash Pad across from McKeever Lodge and walk down to the Long Branch Lake shore for a garbage grab. This will keep our lake shore clean and maintain a healthy ecosystem for our wildlife. Most importantly, we will focus on collecting misplaced fishing lines that could endanger turtles, birds, and other animals. Garbage bags and gloves will be provided.
