National Honey Bee Day

August 18th is National Honey Bee Day! We’ll start with a bee craft for kids (and adults!) at 5:30 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., join park naturalist Brian Tabor for a short walk to see and learn about Beech Fork’s pollinator field and bee hives. These hives are in an out-of-the-way area, but on the walking route for this special day. If attending the ‘bee’ walk, your name will be entered in a drawing to win a free jar of West Virginia honey. Activities are open to the public without charge.
