Summer fun at Cacapon is about things you find in nature. Join us July 6 – 7, 2022 for these free programs and if you can’t attend an activity visit the nature center that is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Activities are at the nature center unless indicated.

About the nature center:
The nature center is a great stop for all ages, showcasing exhibits on the park history and the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Camp Morgan 1934-41. Other West Virginia natural exhibits include an extensive taxidermy collection of wildlife- fish, birds, fox, bobcat, mountain lion, deer, elk, and eastern gray wolf! Also, hands-on sand displays for wildlife tracks and a new geology interactive map to design your own mountains, rivers and lakes.
