Meet the Coywolf Nature Film
Join the staff for this hour long film that takes you about the extraordinary tale of adaptation
and evolution of a new hybrid through the parking lots and backyards of Toronto to the streets
of New York. YPP

Sand Art
Join the staff to add sand to pre-pasted pictures. FREE

Leaf a Long Hike
Join the naturalist in the parking area of Nature Center to learn about tree identification and more along Balsam Fir Trail. An excellent time of day to be out hiking. About 1.5 miles, 90 minutes. YPP

Family Fun Scavenger Hunt
Pick up list of things to take a selfie with and list of things to find on the park at the front
desk of Blackwater Falls Lodge. Return to registration in Lobby at 4:00 p.m. for answers/prize to
Winner.

Registration Open Blackwater Lodge Lobby for guests registered to attend SeptemberFest. Learn more about SeptemberFest. Join the staff to discuss your adventure for SeptemberFest train ride and Gandy Dancer .

5:00 p.m.
Natural Cordage
Join the seasonal naturalist, Kenny, to hear about historical methods to make twine or rope from locally available plant material. ! About 1 hour. Perhaps try your hand at basket making. Craft fee to cover materials TBA at start of program. YPP

Dustin McCray LIVE!
An Americana singer-songwriter from Ireland, West Virginia, McCray’s voice is pure, combining folk, rock, country and blues with a balance of familiarity and uniqueness. Join us in Blackwater Falls Lodge Conference Center for this FREE concert. YPP
