Donโ€™t โ€œRescueโ€ Me!
My mother (her name is โ€˜Doeโ€™) may leave me (a fawn, her baby) alone for long periods of time, sometimes hours or even all day. Even if you donโ€™t see a white-tailed deer nearby, fawns donโ€™t need to be โ€œrescuedโ€. Please give fawns some space and do not disturb them. They are doing what their Mom told them to do.
