Don’t “Rescue” Me!
My mother (her name is ‘Doe’) may leave me (a fawn, her baby) alone for long periods of time, sometimes hours or even all day. Even if you don’t see a white-tailed deer nearby, fawns don’t need to be “rescued”. Please give fawns some space and do not disturb them. They are doing what their Mom told them to do.
