Matt Mullins, a musician whose sound resonates with “back porch memories,” possesses a genuine musicality that moves listeners and makes it undeniably clear that music is deeply ingrained in his soul. This West Virginia native’s musical journey began in earnest right after high school. While he is currently best known as the driving force behind the band The Bringdowns, which officially formed in 2016, his musical roots run deeper. Before forming The Bringdowns, Matt was an active member of two other notable bands: Old School Abbey and The Boatmen. Both groups allowed him to develop his performance and songwriting skills, touring pretty extensively and gaining valuable experience on the road.
