History Alive! Peanuts Creator, Charles Schulz: Twin Falls - May 29, 2023

May 29, 2023 @ 5:00 pm 6:00 pm

A great evening program at Twin Falls State Park finds James Froemel portraying Charles Schulz, the creator of the “Peanuts” comic strip and one of the most iconic cartoonists of our time. Join us May 29, 2023 at 5:00PM.

This program is open to the public and free to attend. The program lasts about 45 minutes to an hour. This program is staged in the courtyard at Twin Falls Lodge – the perfect setting for any age attendee.

James Froemel as Charles Schulz shares the story of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang that gave him a connection to audiences through his humor and wit that lasted nearly 50 years.

The staff at Twin Falls recommends this activity as a new way to experience the history of ‘Peanuts’ as History Alive! The evening is made possible by the West Virginia Humanities Council and Twin Falls State Park.

Attendees arriving as any Peanuts’ character or wearing Peanuts apparel win a fun prize from Naturalist and Activities Coordinator Tammy Cooper. The opportunity for selfies is also part of the evening. Following the program, attendees may plan to have dinner at Twin Falls Restaurant.
