Carnifex Civil War Battlefield Tour, 1 mile easy walk is a step back in time at a place where history happened in 1861. Walk the battlefield site, cemetery, and see the Patterson house to learn more about what happened here during the Civil War. Meet at the Patterson House at 3:00 p.m. on September 18, 2022. Superintendent Sean Pettrey is your interpretative guide. Tour is about an hour in length. Easy walking.
