Hawks Nest History Revealed is a Spring Fling activity!
Join Park Superintendent Joe Baughman at Hawks Nest State Park main overlook on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. There is ample parking on both sides of Route 60. Please be mindful of vehicular traffic when crossing the highway.
Enjoy a lively conversation about how Hawks Nest came to be and the rich history of the area, from the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), the Hawks Nest dam, and more.
This activity begins at 2:00 p.m. and lasts about one hour.
