Halloween in the Park: Watoga

The annual Halloween in the Park at Watoga State Park is October 28 – 29, 2022. Activities during the weekend may include pumpkin carving, ghost stories, costume contests and even a little trick or treating. We’ll have ‘boo-dles’ of fun for everyone.

Cornhole Team Tournament
Single elimination team tournament behind Riverside Check-in. No entry fee. Come as you are and bring family and friends. Sign up at the Riverside Check-in before noon to enter.
7PM
Ghost Stories
Join us around the fire at the Check-in station to hear some haunting tales. All tales are family-friendly.

Spooky Family Games
Come at your leisure to Group Site “A” to have some spooky fun times! Several games will be set up for kiddos and family.

Pumpkin Carving
Carve out or create with sticker faces our favorite Halloween jack-o-lanterns! We will have supplies and limited pumpkins, so please feel free to bring your own pumpkins as well. Parents/guardians, please stay to assist your children and their creations!
5PM
Halloween Costume and Campsite Decorating Contest.
Join us at Riverside Check-in for our annual costume contest! Judges will be assessing participants for best costumes. Contest for costume participants are for ages 13 and younger.
6PM
Trick or Treat
If coming to participate or just watch, please arrive before 5:30 p.m. Instructions will be given on where to park. Enjoy your treats as you walk through the campground and marvel at the decorations!
7:30PM
Campsite Contest Winners Announced
Meet back at the Check-in for the announcement of the campsite decorating contest winners! Prizes awarded.
