Green Day Hike – Kanawha State Forest

Earn a West Virginia State Park Green Day patch by looking for spring’s return of green along a guided hike. Join the park naturalists on the Davis Creek Trail. The trail is home to a variety of spring wildflowers, including Trout Lilies, Trilliums, Wild Ginger, and Bloodroot, as well as young
Mayapples!
Hikers will meet at 10 a.m. at the Nature Center. As part of the hike, we will engage in a Spring-themed scavenger hunt. At the end of the hike, hikers will receive a patch! This hike is rated “Easy” and is suitable for all ages!
