Green Day Hike – Droop Mountain Battlefield State Park - April 11, 2026

Join us at the Droop Mountain Battlefield State Park Office. We will hike two miles on the Overlook and Cranberry Bog Trails. The Overlook Trail follows a series of rock cliffs. We will observe several small caves and historic Civil War trenches. Along the Cranberry Bog Trail, we will visit a vernal pool. We will travel at an easy pace as we search for signs of spring along the way. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes, and a walking stick is recommended. Participants will receive a Green Day Patch.
