Farm-to-Table: Tygart Lake
The reflection of a waning crescent moon at Tygart Lake is possible if weather cooperates for the 2022 Farm-to-Table dinner at this State Park on August 18. This Farm-to-Table event is held at The Lodge restaurant and features locally sourced produce and products.
This special dinner begings at 6 p.m. with light appetizers and cash bar with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. Locally sourced products and produce are featured in a three-course dinner with a spectacular view of Tygart Lake. All meats, produce and fruits are from Methany’s Farmers Market and wine from Kirkwood Winery.
Appetizers are coleslaw and fresh fruits. Dinner features slow cooked brisket, BBQ chicken, potato salad, squash casserole, corn on the cob, and homemade rolls. For the sweet tooth, dessert is peach and blueberry cobblers.
There will be music and drawings for a gift basket as part of the evening festivities.
Seating is limited to 40 reservations and the meal is $39.99 per person that includes tax and gratuity.
