Farm-to-Table Dinner Series – Tygart Lake State Park

West Virginia State Parks, in cooperation with the West Virginia Department of Agriculture, is pleased to announce the 2025 Farm-to-Table Dinner Series!
The individual talents of our state park chefs come alive as they create an unforgettable culinary experience by crafting a sumptuous dinner with locally sourced products.
Each dinner in the series will feature its own unique theme, setting, entertainment and menu. These annual events at West Virginia’s state park restaurants create a unique summer-time experience you don’t want to miss!
Mark your calendars now for the Tygart Lake State Park Farm to Table Dinner on October 4, 2025! Cocktails at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served promptly at 6 p.m. Overnight accommodations are available for this event.
This chef inspired dinner is a five-course explosion of fresh and locally sourced flavor! This meal includes: butter lettuce salad with smoked cheddar, orchard apples, carrots, bacon, candied walnuts and a lemon. Enjoy whiskey dijon vinaigrette as well as fried green tomatoes with pimento goat cheese.
There will also be wild mushroom bisque with wild honey crostini points, stuffed pork tenderloin with dates, walnuts, cranberries and golden raisins in a maple mustard crust. Try roasted rosemary baby potatoes, parsnips and carrots.
You’ll also enjoy trying boeuf en croute, a slice of local beef topped with gorgonzola cheese and wrapped in a flakey crust – baked and drizzled with a berry bacon jam. This will be served with roasted rosemary baby potatoes, parsnips, carrots and sweet potato crème brûlée.
Local apple cider specials include Mountain Table Cold Brew Special: Jack n’ Sally – a cold brew with dark chocolate and spiced pumpkin topped with whipped cream, caramel, Oreo crumbs and cinnamon sticks.
Cost is $60.00 per person and $76.32 total, including a 20% gratuity and 6% tax. Reservations are limited for this gourmet meal at the Lodge Restaurant.
