In cooperation with the West Virginia Department of Agriculture, West Virginia State Parks is pleased to announce the 2025 Farm to Table Dinner Series!
The individual talents of our state park chefs come alive as they create an unforgettable culinary experience by crafting a sumptuous dinner with locally sourced products.
Each dinner in the series will feature a unique theme, setting, entertainment and menu. These annual events at West Virginia’s state park restaurants create a unique summer-time experience you won’t want to miss!
Mark your calendars for the Holly River State Park Farm to Table Dinner on Sept. 10, 2025, starting at 6 p.m. in The Cookhouse Restaurant! Overnight accommodations are available for this event.
The Cookhouse is likely the most unique full-service restaurant in the West Virginia State Park system. This exclusive event is small, intimate, and cozy; tickets always sell out quickly.
Restaurant operator Cristi Vason has curated a locally sourced menu that complements the beauty and simplicity of Holly River. The main attractions are homemade broccoli cheese soup in a homemade bread bowl, fried chicken, mashed potatoes with homemade gravy, green beans, mac-n-cheese, glazed local carrots, and fresh-made rolls and biscuits. Homemade cookies, brownies, mini-cobblers, pie tarts and ice cream for dessert, and locally sourced coffee are also available!
Reservations are required. For more information, or to make your reservation, please call Holly River State Park at (304) 493-6353.
