Join the park naturalists to witness this is a once in a lifetime astronomical event. Although West Virginia does not have a total eclipse, the partial eclipse (around 91%) will definitely be noticed! It starts at 2:01 p.m., peaks at 3:18 p.m. and ends at 4:33 p.m.
Bring your observation glasses, lawn chairs, water and a picnic lunch if you wish. Observation glasses will be provided to the first 40 participants. Make sure you have sunscreen and bug repellant. This event is free and open to the public.
