Our featured guest, Chef Ke, is an Alexandria, Virginia native who now calls Charleston, WV home. On Juneteenth, Chef Ke became the first African American Chef in WV to host a Farm to Table dinner. She is a current James Beard Legacy Network advisee and the current Deli and Store manager of Miss Ruby’s Corner Market; the first black owned market in WV and a social enterprise of Keep Your Faith Corporation. Chef Ke is dedicated to including African American and minority farmers, and soul food recipes into her Farm to Table dinners. Her mission is to continue to educate and provide healthy, elevated and affordable dishes to her community.
