Birds, Neotropical Migrants of the New River Gorge is a Spring Fling activity!
Hike the Fisherman’s Trail at Hawks Nest Lake in search of spring’s migrating birds. See neotropical migrants that use this rich habitat for breeding and also as a stopover on their way to breeding grounds farther north. Bring binoculars if you have them, water, and sun protection.
We’ll meet you at the parking lot at the lake on Saturday, May 13, 2023. The activity is about a mile and easy to moderate walking. Please check the link below for a starting time.
