Bil Lepp Live!: North Bend

July 1, 2023 @ 7:00 pm 8:00 pm

It’s close enough to the July 4th holiday to have WV’s favorite storyteller and humorous liar, Bil Lepp, at North Bend State Park. You’ll find Lepp at the amphitheater at 7:00PM on July 1, 2023. Mark your calendars for this Saturday evening show.

Bring the family if you’re from the area for this fun hour. If you are an overnight guest at North Bend, leave the camper, your cabin or the lodge room and join us. There is no charge and everyone is welcome. The program is open to the public.

His humorous tales curl the lips on the grumpiest of people. Sure to tickle your funny bone, the laughter and show is staged at North Bend’s amphitheater. This program is about an hour or a tad longer.

Lepp is an author of children’s books, audio tapes of tall and perhaps true stories, and a champion liar. He was a recent History® Channel host. “Man vs. History” was a series that followed Bil as he traveled off the beaten path across the country to discover the truth behind mysteries and legends of American history. Each episode Bil investigated, decoded and debunked iconic subjects and figures like Billy the Kid, Johnny Appleseed, Davy Crockett, Houdini and more. Whether speaking to experts, handling artifacts or testing historical weapons, Bil worked to determine if the story in question was fact, fiction or somewhere in-between.

Come out for an evening of grins and giggles at North Bend State Park on July 1. Fee free. Open to the public. All ages are welcome. [If you miss Bill at North Bend State Park, you’ll find him at Blackwater Falls on July 20, Tygart Lake on July 21, or Beech Fork on July 22, 2023. Hope to see you at one or the other or all.]
