“Why Pollinators”
This is an educational program geared to ages K-6, meet the Naturalist at the Nature Center to learn about pollinators, what it is and how you can help out on such an important process. Take a short walk from the Nature Center to one of Twin Falls largest pollinator areas. Craft will follow program on the porch of Nature Center. Allow 30 minutes. {Just because this program is geared for youngsters, any age is welcome. Regardless of our age, we can always learn something about butterflies and other pollinators. Interested in developing a pollinator zone or plot at home, ask Tammy.}

Made from paper recycled here at the nature center. These paper seed bombs have Black-Eyed Susan seeds inside them. Just plant in the ground and wait to see them grow, if planted now in September they will emerge in the spring, so remember where you planted them. Black-eyed Susans flower is a popular pollinator flower that attracts butterflies throughout the summer and Goldfinch birds in the late summer and early fall when they start to seed. Allow 30 minutes.

The nature center is open from 2:00pm – 6:00pm today. Take time to stop in and visit.
