Celebrate May with a Saturday morning bird walk. Renowned birder Joey Herron will lead the public on the annual rite of passage – birding at the fort.  This activity is at Prickett’s Fort State Park on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.  This is the final walk of four walks scheduled.

The Visitor Center is the location and bird walk begins at 8:00AM and will conclude around 10:00AM.  This activity of easy walking and standing is free and open to the public. Wear good walking shoes just in case attendees want to venture.
