A Starry Santurday Night: Chief Logan

November 12, 2022 @ 6:30 pm 8:30 pm

Come out for an evening of sky-watching! Look through a computerized telescope at various celestial bodies including the moon, planets, galaxies, and more. Learn seasonal constellations and other cool facts about the night sky on November 12, 2022.

Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and the Peak of the Northern Taurid Meteors, Leonid Meteors (plus 2 other showers) may be visible tonight. Cloudiness may reduce visibility of celestial objects and cannot be helped. This activity begins at 6:30 p.m. and will conclude by 8:30 p.m. and is staged at the fire pit at Chief Logan Lodge. There is plenty of parking available.

Program will include a star wheel craft and a Moon Pie!

Participants of all ages are welcome. No fee to participate. Social distancing must be maintained. Mask optional but encouraged. Program requires patience that may be difficult for younger children. Rain will cancel this program.
