4th annual Pet-A-Palooza: Cacapon

September 16, 2023 @ 9:00 am 1:00 pm

This year the Pet-A-Palooza includes a pet friendly morning jaunt and a later morning – afternoon activity to swim with your furry friend at the beach! (No lifeguard on duty). Pet’s must be on a leash and well behaved. Children participating must be accompanied by an adult.

9:00AM – B.A.R.K in the Park
Join the park naturalist for a pet friendly hike. Learn about leave no trace principles and other park rules so your furry friend can earn their certificate for being part of B.A.R.K in the Park. Find this activity at the Nature Center.

10:00AM – 1:00PM – 4th Annual Pet-A-Palooza
Swimming with your furry friend is at Cacapon Resort State Park beach.
Entrance fee to the event will be by monetary donation to the local Humane Society.
If you need a receipt for your donation, please ask.

If you would rather, donate other helpful items that the shelter can use, consider these ideas:
Purina Pro Plan dry dog food / Canned dog food
Blankets, trash bags, bleach, paper towels
Dawn dish detergent
Durable dog toys (medium/large)
Chewy.com gift card

Entrance area for the beach swim will be at the picnic area beach access where donations will be accepted by local Girl Scout Troop 15045 on behalf of the Humane Society. We appreciate your kindness and support.
