A Berkeley Springs favorite, the Prospects Restaurant at Cacapon Resort State Park is presenting its annual Farm to Table dinner in collaboration with local producers such as Mocks Greenhouse, Dollinger Farms, Orr’s Market, and Mountain State Trout. The chef at Cacapon Resort has curated a delicious menu that includes a starter of ramped up deviled duck eggs, a summer bloom salad and a watercress and pansy salad with a basil-orange blossom vinaigrette, the main includes a brown sugar and soy-glazed duck with a sweet potato puree and collard greens, pan-fried trout with creamy roasted garlic gouda grits, and finally if there’s room for dessert, you’ll enjoy a bourbon vanilla almond plum crumble served with local vanilla bean ice cream.
A cash bar, featuring local craft beers and regional wines will be available starting at 5 p.m., and dinner will be at 6 p.m. The price per ticket is $85 per person, all inclusive.
