Cabins at Kumbrabow State Forest
Kumbrabow State Forest features six furnished cabins that harken back to the days before electricity connected us to the rest of the world. You will be relaxed and free of all digital distractions during your stay. All cabins are pet-friendly and one cabin is wheelchair accessible. Please note that these cabins do not have electricity or running water.
Cabins are available from April through the first week of December. Check-in begins at 4 p.m., and check-out is by 10 a.m. for all cabins.
Pioneer Cabins
Pioneer cabins are of wood frame construction and feature various bedding arrangements. They come with gas lights, a gas refrigerator, a fully equipped kitchen, linen service, a wood fireplace, an outside toilet, a water well and a grill. All guests should note that pioneer cabins do not have electricity or running water. Shower services are available at a central bathhouse away from the cabin area. Cabin services provide wood for the fireplace and outside firewood is available for a small fee.
