Pipestem Resort State Park Celebrates National Moth Week!

July 27 @ 9:15 pm

National Moth Week (NMW) is held annually worldwide during the last full week of July and celebrates the beauty, life cycles, and habitats of moths around the world. Meet at the Nature Center for moth watching. We will have a black light and white sheet set up to attract moths. Bring a flashlight and don’t forget your phone or camera to capture the moth moments. You may also want to bring a chair if you have one. In the event of rain the program may be canceled.

This program qualifies as a “Young People for Parks” program. YPP is an environmental education program for children ages 6-16. Participants attend three activities specified as “YPP” during their stay to receive a certificate.
