Hike by the light of a full moon at Cass!

The full moon in August falls on Wednesday. Full Moon Hikes begin from the visitors center at Cass (to the left of the Company Store) at 8:00 p.m. The evening walk is about three miles round trip with a slight grade, but mostly flat walking. Hikes are led by Park Interpreter Kailey Gibson-Price or park superintendent. Please call the park office at 304-456-4300 if you plan on hiking by the light of a full moon.

Traditionally this full moon is the Full Sturgeon Moon.
