The Mountain Creek Dining Room is reopening! Join Pipestem Resort State Park Chef Marion Ohlinger for an exclusive opportunity to experience an eight-course culinary journey of upscale Appalachian fare.
Schedule
Social starts at 6 p.m., with the eight-course dinner and entertainment starting at 6:45 p.m.
Menu
- – Sweet corn chowder, seasoned with coriander-rosemary oil and smoked corn silk
- – Wild boar sausage steamed in apple cider, poached scuppernongs and fresh chervil
- – Smoked trout fondue with pan-fried flatbread
- – Sumac-rubbed ribeye steak and bone marrow butter
- – Elk meatloaf seared in an iron skillet with buttermilk mashers, and house-made catsup
- – Twice-fried chicken with blackberry-sorghum barbeque and bloody butcher griddle grits
- – Spaghetti squash lasagna with provolone, fresh marinara and basil oil
- – Alfalfa panna cotta with black walnut whipped cream
